Cookie Policy

Last updated: 8 August 2026. This page explains how datalink-core.digital uses cookies and similar storage.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Local storage entries can serve a similar purpose for preferences such as cookie consent.

Types we use

Essential cookies or storage entries remember your consent choice and keep basic site functions working. Analytics cookies, if accepted, help us understand aggregate traffic patterns. Rejecting analytics does not block course pages or forms.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
datalink_core_cookie_consent Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner 1 year (localStorage) Datalink Core
session_routing Optional host-level session continuity for secure delivery Session Hosting provider
_ga / _gid (if accepted) Aggregate analytics of page views Up to 24 months / 24 hours Google Analytics (if enabled)

Managing or disabling cookies

Use the banner’s Reject or Accept controls on first visit. You can clear site data in your browser to see the banner again. Browser settings can block cookies entirely; essential features such as remembering consent may then reset on each visit.

Third-party cookies

Embedded fonts or media from third parties may set their own cookies according to their policies. Analytics providers only run when you accept optional cookies.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting analytics does not remove access to educational content. Blocking all cookies may clear preferences and require repeated consent prompts.
